THE WORLD’S SHORTEST SHORT STORY

Writers often believe that more words equate to a better story. Heminway proved them wrong.

He wrote a 6 word, evocative short story.

“FOR SALE: Baby shoes. Never worn.”

You have to admit that it is concise, precise, and pulls out all sorts of emotional considerations.

I am reminded of the saying: “Speak Less: Listen More!”

If you liked the baby shoes I used in this post, you can find them for sale HERE.

He also published many more 6-word stories. HERE

“Rent baby for fun, scary evening.”
